Rev. Mark J. Nierman, Pastor

Pastor Nierman was installed as Pastor of Mount Olive on January 17, 2010.  He is originally from Fort Collins, CO.  He completed his undergraduate studies at Concordia University, Portland, OR and later received his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO in 2003.  Pastor Nierman previously served as Pastor of Faith in Christ Lutheran Church, Albuquerque, NM.  He and Jodi have two sons, Caleb and Joshua.

Rev. John W. Israel, Visitation Pastor (part-time, retired)

Pastor Israel has been serving as Mount Olive's Visitation Pastor since 1996.  He visits home-bound and institutionalized members of Mount Olive, makes hospital calls, conducts funerals, and helps in a variety of other ways at the parish.  Pastor Israel graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO in 1956.  He served as Pastor of Lutheran congregations in Lexington, KY, Three Lakes and Eagle River, WI and finally, in Tomahawk, WI.  He retired in 1992 and three years later, he and wife Jeane moved to Loveland.  Shortly thereafter, he began serving Mount Olive as semi-retired Visitation Pastor.  The Israels were married in 1954.  They have 3 children and 7 grandchildren.

Laura Burrill, Office Secretary

Laura Burrill has been serving as Mount Olive's Office Secretary since January, 2007.  Laura was born and raised in Washington state.  She moved to Loveland with her family in 1997 and soon began volunteering at her daughters’ school.  Laura's favorite activities include cooking, crafting, reading, and drinking coffee.  Laura and Brian were married in 1987.  They have two daughters, Brianne and Tasha.
